When peeling occurs, it must be repaired in time.Otherwise, the peeling area will be expanded, so that the whole swing bearing is scrapped.
The repair method is:
First:The slewing ring inside the roller or steel ball out, so that the inner and outer ring separation;clean the raceway with gasoline.
Second:It is then carefully ground with a grinder (grinding wheel) to the hardened layer of the cracks that have developed around the stripper area of Microsoft corporation in the United States.Preheat the raceway with welding torch at the welding place where the raceway needs to be filled, and weld with medium carbon steel welding rod (the welding rod must be dried before use and used as it is baked). The welding layer should be slightly higher than 1-2mm above the raceway surface.If the peeling layer is deep or the area is large, it should be stratified and sectionalized.This prevents weld cracks from rapidly cooling, and thermal insulation measures should be taken immediately after welding to gradually cool it down.
Third:After cooling, the patching layer is ground down with a polishing machine to make it slightly higher than the surface of the raceway. The patching layer table is gradually polished with oilstone or metallographic emery cloth to make it consistent with the normal surface of the raceway.
In the end:Use gasoline to clean the raceway and roller (steel ball) coated with grease, assembly into one can be completed.
